August 2023 Updates from Trackersack

It’s been an exciting 3 months here at Trackersack, we have begun trials with another London Local authority tracking their general waste and recycling sacks from their commercial waste departments.

The aim of the trial is to identify and change the trends of businesses who are not recycling correctly and using the recycling service as a cheaper way of disposing of general waste.

With the changes coming to recycling in Wales, Trackersack has also signed an agreement with its first Welsh council to begin tracking waste, so we can identify and educate those who are not recycling correctly. We are also working as part of the Brecon DDRS Trial with Circularity solutions, Trackersack has provided a solution to track the waste from the household back to the sorting centre allowing the team to identify and check that households are disposing and reclaiming monies correctly.

Our FM sector clients have been busy too, we have begun working on the Spitalfields estate and in Paddington Square, our clients in Kings Cross have extended there range of Trackersack sacks to now cover food and glass waste as the results and benefits of the general and recycling waste sacks are being seen.
